The Cisco WAP has worked so well it has made my wired network unnecessary. My IT consultant thought the improvement over G would be slight and we have both been surprised at much more it boosted wireless performance. I will continue to use wired network for passing large files and passing HD video. This high speed is ideal for regular computer usage including email, youtube, google surfing, printing, etc.
I am very happy with the ease of use. I don't need a router. I want the wireless devices on the same network to access network printers and servers. I plugged it into the network and I got an immediate connection for my iPod Touch. Logging in and configuring is the same as any other Linksys device. I have great coverage. Very happy.

I ordered the Lantronix xPrintServer and it is one of the best technology products I've ever bought. You just plug in the power and plug in the network and in less than 1 minute you are able to print from your iPad. No configuration is needed, it automatically finds your network printer and presents it as an option on the iPad or iPhone. We have 4 iPads and iPhones in our house and this is a life saver. So much easier to print directly than having to email something to yourself and go to the computer to print.

Trendnet Wireless Parallel Print Server.
This unit worked great and install was pretty easy. I am using in my home wireless network of two PCs and one iMac i5. I configured the print server from my mac, I had to turn off my Mac's wifi and hook an ethernet cable to the print server. Once I did that I could connect to the config via the web browser. The first thing I did was to change the print servers IP address to a 192.168.1.x number as it comes with a default of 192.168.0.x which is not in my home network. I entered my wireless routers info including the passkey for the security, entered the name of my printer as the port name, saved it then power it off, disconnected the ethernet cable and powered the print server back on. I turned on my Macs wireless and was able to connect to the print server's config page via the web browser. Everything was good. Installing the printer was easy on the Mac just add printer, it found my printer automatically and select the generic postscript driver, and that was done. For the PC's you have to create a new port from the Add A Printer from the control panel, just follow the PDF instructions that is included on the CD and it worked just fine. Great item.

very nice for multifuntion printer.
Very happy with this. Easy to configure & worked right out of the box. I have 3 printers (1 with a scanner) connected to it. All are working great. Nice interface for configuration. My only knock is that it only supports HP & Epson scanner/printer combinations (I have a Brother), so to scan I must connect the Brother directly to my PC. DPR-1260 works from Vista and/or XP without any hitches. Very Happy with the value of this product.

Good print server.
I have an office upstairs for my work with a wireless router there. I have two computers and two USB printers downstairs for personal use. The setup was a little tricky and required some assistance from TrendNet's technical support for my work computer which runs Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. The other two computers downstairs run Vista 32 bit and XP Pro respectively and I had no problems with the setup for them. The 64 bit Windows 7 required a different approach to setting up the two printers that was not included anywhere in the documentation that came with the print server or online at the TrendNet website. Once I got over that hump with the call to their tech support, I have not had any further issues. It works great. I would recommend this to anyone needing to print wirelessly.

Easy install for Windows 7.
I bought this Trendnet print server to replace a single port D-Link 301U. I am running Windows 7 and I used the install file for Vista/XP and it worked just fine. This product was much easier to install than the D-Link server. The instructions were clear and everything installed very easy. I just took the CD install disk to my other computers and repeated the process and I had two printers installed in no time. It is my first purchase of a Trendnet product and I was pleasantly surprised.
